She's a what? "Wirehaired Pointing Griffon." Jacob chose this incredibly specific dog breed years before he met me. I hate admitting when he's right, but she is my special little angel. - Hadley

Instead of wedding planning after the engagement, we've been enjoying concerts, camping, and life with our two pets on the coast. Hadley's been building her perfume collection and I've been fishing and fixing up motorcycles. Now that we have our venue selected, we cant wait to tie the knot!

Procrastinating 

Hadley and I recently went back to the Hoh Rainforest in Washington to take our engagement photos! We lucked out with pleasant weather during a normally very wet PNW winter.

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in the Clackamas Area for Thursday through Sunday! The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the venue and 25 minutes from Portland International Airport. Each room offers a great view of the Clackamas River.

Accommodations

Willamette Falls

Right in the heart of Oregon City is Willamette falls, the second largest waterfall in the US by volume. While you cant get too close, there is a good viewing point across the road from The Highland Stillhouse where we will be hosting our afterparty.

Food Carts!

Portland is known for its food carts! While we have only explored a small number of them in the city, we recommend checking out the Prost! Marketplace for a collection of 10 food carts in a courtyard setting. While waiting for your food, grab a crisp German beer. Prost! (Cheers) - Hadley

The Portland Japanese Garden

Hadley and I make a yearly stop at the Japanese Garden in Portland. In late October, there should be some great fall colors for your viewing pleasure. Check it out here - <a href="https://japanesegarden.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://japanesegarden.org/</a>

Seaside and Cannon Beach

Come check out the coast where Hadley and I live! The towns of Seaside and Cannon Beach have some incredible views and miles of beach access. We will be heading back to the coast Sunday after the wedding and would love to continue the party there!

Mount Hood

Two hours from the coast is our favorite mountain, Mt. Hood! You can drive up to Timberline Lodge and take in Scenic views of Oregon mountain ranges. There are lots of hiking trails, lakes, and streams for some quality outdoor time. Mt. Hood is about an hour and a half drive from where everyone will be staying in Oregon City.
